The Cultural Data Project is Getting a Facelift!

Dear CDP Users,

When logging into the Cultural Data Project website on Friday, May 1st, 2009, you may notice something a little different about our appearance.

Based on feedback we've heard from our users, we have made significant cosmetic upgrades to our websites in order to increase transparency and user-friendliness.  The CDP is now easier to navigate and full of color!

Introducing the following features:

- My CDP--one page for all your Data Profiles, notes, tips and all your saved reports
- No need to turn off pop-up blockers!
- Easier navigation with "SAVE" and "CANCEL" buttons
- Your work is automatically saved when moving within the Data Profile
-

Notes can be viewed simultaneously, no matter in what year they were entered

- Expanded Data Profile status lists let you know where you are in the review process and alert you to next steps
- Generate Funder Reports by choosing a fiscal year from the drop down menu

Pennsylvania users: please note that the privacy policy has also been updated to provide you with more information.

While none of the changes will affect how you enter data, we encourage you to participate in a webinar to see first-hand the changes that have been made.

Pennsylvania Cultural Data Project

The Pennsylvania Cultural Data Project is a powerful, online management tool designed to strengthen arts and cultural organizations. This unique system allows users to track their own financial and programmatic performance over time and to benchmark themselves against comparable organizations in specific disciplines, geographic regions and budget sizes. Through the Pennsylvania CDP Help Desk, organizations have immediate access to free on-call technical assistance and a team of non-profit financial consultants. Pennsylvania CDP is available to large and small organizations, including those with 501(c)3 status, cultural programs within non-arts organizations, organizations using fiscal conduits, and even unincorporated collectives and festivals at no cost.

By participating in the Pennsylvania CDP, you will be part of a successful and growing project that will allow the arts community as a whole to better articulate and provide evidence for the sector's assets and needs, as well as its contributions to the state and the country.
